Wein Pulsar Universal IR Infrared Flash Trigger The Wein Synk-Link Universal IR Infrared Flash Trigger is specially designed to connect all standard shoe flashes to the proprietary hot shoes. Fully compatible to work with all Digital SLR Cameras. With Wein Synk-Link Invisible infared technology fires all optical slaves (built-in or accessory) at distances of up to 200 feet but the beam is invisible to the camera, exceeding the range of competing brands by 50% in most studio settings with existing built-in slaves. Trigger your built-in Optical Slaves to fire any flash that has a built-in optical slave with your Digital SLR. The pulsar cycles to zero when not fired, and cuts off after the system is charged for the next flash. Built-in regulator increases battery life by many months even if you forget to turn the pulsar off. Wein Synk-Link Universal IR Infrared Flash Trigger is a far superior IR filter and will not cause any unwanted color shifts. After that the camera works as IR camera only, but I do not need IR filter. When I look through the viewfinder it looks "normal" and I can use any lens and any extra filter. But still I need some processing in CS5 - such as Adjustment of layers, Inverting channels, Adjustment of Hue/Saturation and some extra layer work On Explore 2011-10-14 #35 First attempt at IR photography: BW version Just got a Hoya R72 IR filter. One of the first images with it. Converted it to a b&w... the next image is the original IR image recorded by the camera. I did not have a tripod so perched the camera on whatever was available. Will try some decent shots with a tripod soon. ir filter photography nfrared is a spectrum of light beyond that which we normally see. Infrared photography was only used in film cameras in the past, but despite having an IR blocking filter installed between the lens and the Digital Camera's Sensor, most digital cameras can still react to infrared energy, though at levels far lower than visible light. To take "infrared" pictures - i.e., photos primarily made up of near infrared energy - you need to filter out the visible light and only allow the infrared spectrum through to the lens. The easiest way to do this is to use an infrared filter.
